Watch the Cold Moon rise tonight (Dec. 7), the last full moon of 2022

On Wednesday (Dec. 7) the moon will attain its full moon phase as December’s aptly-named Chilly Moon, the ultimate full moon of 2022, rises for a lot of the night time.

The Cold Moon rises above the horizon at round sundown and units at dawn reaching peak illumination at round 11:09 p.m. EST (0409 GMT) in response to Farmer’s Almanac. (opens in new tab) December’s Chilly Moon has a better trajectory than most, which suggests it can keep above the horizon for longer than many full moons.
