Jupiter is at its closest to Earth in 59 years, NASA says



The solar system’s most huge planet, Jupiter, will make its closest method to Earth for 59 years on Sept. 26 even because the gas giant will likely be instantly reverse the sun as seen from Earth, an astronomical association referred to as opposition.

Opposition is frequent for Jupiter, occurring each 13 months, and the planet and Earth make shut approaches roughly yearly. The association that sees Earth in between the sun and Jupiter not often coincides with the huge planet’s closest method to our planet, referred to as perigee. However on this event, opposition happens on Sept. 26 and closest method on Sept. 25.
