Pearl Jam ‘travels’ to Mars and beyond in cosmic Apollo Theater show (videos, photos)

NEW YORK CITY — Legendary rock band Pearl Jam took their newest album “Gigaton” to an otherworldly degree with a efficiency on the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem on Saturday (Sept. 10).

Pearl Jam’s lead singer Eddie Vedder is not any stranger to space, having not too long ago collaborated with NASA on a music video impressed by the Artemis program of lunar exploration. However the band went far past the moon. Along with basic Pearl Jam songs like “Even Movement,” “Spin the Black Circle,” “Porch” and extra, they performed seven songs from “Gigaton (opens in new tab),” which incorporates two space-inspired numbers.
