How do we know the fundamental constants are constant? We don’t.

By a wide range of exams on Earth and all through the universe, physicists have measured no adjustments in time or space for any of the elemental constants of nature.

All of recent physics rests on two most important pillars. One is Einstein’s concept of general relativity, which we use to elucidate the drive of gravity. The opposite is the Standard Model, which we use to explain the opposite three forces of nature: electromagnetism, the robust nuclear drive and the weak nuclear drive. Wielding these theories, physicists can clarify huge swaths of interactions all through the universe.
