Closed because the finish of March, the Air and Area Museum’s flagship constructing on the Nationwide Mall in Washington, D.C. is now more than halfway through (opens in new tab) a seven-year, $900 million exterior and inside renovation. On Oct. 14, the museum will debut its first eight completed galleries (opens in new tab), in addition to reopen its reward store, Mars Café and its upgraded planetarium.
