Amateur radio operators and more will track NASA’s Artemis 1 moon mission



Beginner radio operators will be part of a robust worldwide community monitoring NASA’s Orion spacecraft after it launches towards the moon this month.

NASA officers introduced {that a} community of 18 volunteers, organizations and space companies will help with monitoring Artemis 1, which is able to ship an uncrewed Orion spacecraft to orbit round the moon after blasting off from Earth atop a Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. Launch is ready for no sooner than Nov. 14.
