NASA has lost communications with a hurricane-watching satellite



NASA is working to reestablish contact with one of many eight spacecraft that make up its Cyclone International Navigation Satellite tv for pc System (CYGNSS) constellation, which screens hurricanes.

CYGNSS is the primary space-based system to gather frequent measurements of wind speeds from the ocean’s floor close to the attention of storms comparable to tropical cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes.
