India loses contact with Mars orbiter: reports



India’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) could have lastly reached the top of its operations after eight years spent orbiting the Pink Planet.

Floor stations operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have misplaced communication with the spacecraft. The exact trigger is not but clear; the orbiter could have run out of propellant, MOM’s battery could drained past the secure working restrict, or an automatic maneuver could have minimize communications, based on media studies.
